April 22, 2023

Burland Firewise NEEDS YOUR HELP! We are preparing for our sixteenth SAWS & SLAWS event. The first one for 2023

We need your help to FELL TREES, DRAG AND STACK SLASH for chipping.  If you can’t physically help drag slash, consider helping at the sign-in booth.

We are CREATING DEFENSIBLE SPACE which will LESSEN THE ADVERSE IMPACTS when a WILDFIRE occurs.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Building a Stronger Community.  Come VOLUNTEER an hour or two or spend the day with us.  Get to know your neighbors.  Every hour counts.

LUNCH, SNACKS and DRINKS will be provided.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU PLAN TO HELP, SO WE CAN PLAN FOR FOOD AND DRINKS.

Burland Firewise not only performs mitigation within Burland, we help those communities adjacent to our boundary that are willing to help us.  This year we have completed Saws & Slaws events in the adjacent communities of Rowland Valley and Trails West.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
